As the online notary industry continues its digital journey, there is an increasing demand for certified and experienced remote online notaries (“RON”) across the State of Florida. Given all the recent, and continuing changes in RON laws and regulations, it is also increasingly difficult to navigate the remote notarization terrain. Since the passing of the law permitting RON in Florida, we have researched for weeks at a time the different laws, protocols, do’s and don’ts, of the industry, including the best online platforms to complete every kind of remote notarization.
Realizing the urgent need for a better understanding of all this information, we decided to embark on a journey to assist other remote online notaries, real estate, title professionals and lenders understand this new notarial act “at the touch of a button.” The Florida Remote Online Notary Association (“FRONA”), the first of its kind, was created and founded by Madelin Espino. Our mission is to provide comprehensive resources, including this web page, where notaries from all states can blog and learn about Florida RON, and all its criteria, including the very latest changes in the law, and latest articles explaining those changes and the rapidly expanding world of RON.
